What Do You Get When You Have A Room Full of Top Executives From Different Companies?

𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗖 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 demands more than geographic expansion; it requires contextual intelligence, adaptive leadership, and disciplined execution. This session equipped senior leaders to navigate APAC’s economic diversity, regulatory complexity, cultural nuance, and uneven digital maturity.

Then, through the collective wisdom of this group of Executive Leaders, we came up with several real examples and strategies to navigate the complexities of an APAC Regional Strategy.

Some of the highlights were:

⭕️ 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 – Geopolitical risk/political risk, cultural differences, willingness to pay, culture fit, competitors, and local credibility (why you?).

⭕️ 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 – Vision review, understand what you are selling, the landscape, partnerships, differentiation, risk management, AI, and sustainability/ESG.

⭕️ 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 – Alignment between the what, who, where, when, how and why; and decide local partner vs local presence.

⭕️ 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗖 – Mindset, trust the local organization, global vs “China speed”, local hubs leveraged regionally, relationship is key (especially with governments), and IP protection.

All these ideas came from the collective wisdom of this group of amazing Leaders, when we put our heads and hearts together to come up with new ways of thinking.

It was an incredible session indeed.
