Last month, I had the pleasure and honour of attending the ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ-๐ถ๐ป-๐๐๐ถ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ (๐๐๐๐) in Singapore with over 700 people. A multi-directional engagement platform for Canada-based and Asia-based companies, institutions, universities, and governments, CIAC brings together business leaders, experts, investors, policy-makers, researchers, and innovators from across Asia and Canada to exchange perspectives, knowledge, and ideas, with the goal of facilitating collaborative partnerships.
As the President of Queenโs University Alumni in Singapore, I met several Heads from my and other universities, a Canadian astronaut who will be on the first all-female astronaut crew, several Heads of large Canadian and multinational companies, and witnessed a 3-2 victory of Canada over US in Hockey Finals.
It truly was a great place for initiating connections and exchanging with likeminded partners. I too got inspired and created some new opportunities. Great to catch up with old and meet new people.
And what about you? When was the last time you went to a conference that truly inspired you? Iโd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
